The motel has 19 rooms; all en-suite with full sized bath and shower room.

 

You can chose from the following room types:

Single   - single bed

Twin     - two single beds

Double - one double bed

Family  - one double bed plus a set of bunk beds

 

All rooms have:

 

  • Colour TV with Free view
  • Tea and coffee making facilities
  • Wireless internet access
  • Hairdryer

 

Bar

The recently refurbished lounge bar provides a welcoming space to relax after a long day

 

We provide a good selection of Beers, Ales, Wines and Spirits and a varied bar menu

The lounge bar is open to both residents and non-residents and we provide a range of entertainment throughout the week

General Information

We are always willing to cater for guests who find they need to eat outside standard meal times subject to reasonable notice.

 

Disabled Facilities – There are disabled toilets by the reception area. All our rooms are on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible.  We are currently upgrading some rooms to have bathrooms suitable for our disabled guests.

 

We regret that pets, other than those used as trained companions by our disabled guests, cannot be brought into the motel

   

 

Conference and business facilities

Being situated close to a motorway junction the Mercury is the ideal location for business travelers requiring a meeting point

 

For business meetings, wedding receptions, birthday parties or any other groups we provide:

 

  • ample parking
  • a selection of facilities from small group meetings to larger conferences
  • a choice of food from light buffet to sit down meals
  • an integral private bar in the function room
  • toilet facilities – 2 sets each of gents and ladies toilets plus disabled facilities

 

We can cater for:

  • a minimum of 10 people
  • a maximum of 125 people for a buffet
  • a maximum of 80 people for a sit down meal
